Free Form is the last technology the world uses to produce progressive lenses. Progressives produced with this technology have a distinct advantage over against progressives produced with conventional or classical technics through unsurpassed vision comfort it presents to the user along with its aesthetic advatages. We can sum the advantages of free form technology over against old methods under a few titles. 1-Individual Progressive: Using Free Form technology, progressive can be produced according to own measurements of the patient, like pantoscopic angle, vertex distance, pupilla distance.
2-Surface
Sensitivity: Because any mould is not used during
the production in free form technology, no deformation occurs
at the lens. Accordingly, the minimal tolerance between the
real dioptry derived from the patient's
prescription data is very less than the lens tolerance produced
with conventional mould production. In summary; the products
are obtained at dioptries which are at maximum closeness to
patient's
prescription data through free form technology.
3-Wider Field of View: Free Form technology presents a lot wider field of view compared to front side progressives because it processes the progressive surface on the back side of the lens. 4-Less Image Disturbances: In free form technology, total magnification value of the lens is a lot less than the progressives produced using conventional way because no operation is made on the front surface. 5-Broader Product Range: Free Form technology meets all expectations in terms of product variety because it can combines progressive designs with any material easily. It has great advantages compared to other systems on product stock and addition availability. |

Free Form is the last technology the world uses to produce progressive lenses. Progressives produced with this technology have a distinct advantage over against progressives produced with conventional or classical technics through unsurpassed vision comfort it presents to the user along with its aesthetic advatages. We can sum the advantages of free form technology over against old methods under a few titles. 1-Individual Progressive: Using Free Form technology, progressive can be produced according to own measurements of the patient, like pantoscopic angle, vertex distance, pupilla distance.
2-Surface
Sensitivity: Because any mould is not used during
the production in free form technology, no deformation occurs
at the lens. Accordingly, the minimal tolerance between the
real dioptry derived from the patient's
prescription data is very less than the lens tolerance produced
with conventional mould production. In summary; the products
are obtained at dioptries which are at maximum closeness to
patient's
prescription data through free form technology.
3-Wider Field of View: Free Form technology presents a lot wider field of view compared to front side progressives because it processes the progressive surface on the back side of the lens. 4-Less Image Disturbances: In free form technology, total magnification value of the lens is a lot less than the progressives produced using conventional way because no operation is made on the front surface. 5-Broader Product Range: Free Form technology meets all expectations in terms of product variety because it can combines progressive designs with any material easily.
